Representatives
of overseas French regions and professionals of the
American tourism industry gathered in support of a newly
launched promotional campaign titled, France of
3 Oceans. Maison de la France presented its strategy
for this campaign followed by a question and answer
session for all attendees. Al Keahi and Mareva Georges
were in attendance representing Tahiti Tourisme North
America. Other regions with representation were St Martin,
St Bart's, Martinique, and Guadelupe.In addition, 44
attending professionals were present. Representation
from the following associations and media outlets were
also in attendance:

Vacation.com
is North American’s top producing travel agency
network for major cruise lines, tour operators, and
destinations. The Sixth Annual Vacation.com International
Conference & Trade Show was held from July 10 -
14 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Previously expected
to be a resounding success, the conference welcomed
over 1,400 delegates including 1,200 travel agents,
making this year's show one of the largest and most
impressive gatherings of industry professionals!
TTNA
was represented by Leila Laille who gave presentations
to agents focusing on the Society Archipelago as well
as Tahiti’s Hidden Paradise. This show was also
a good opportunity to reinforce the South Pacific region
since other Tourisme Offices were also part of the show:
New Zealand, Cooks Islands, Fiji and Australia.

Day, Los Angeles
Sunday
July 11, Bastille Day was celebrated in Los Angeles
at the gardens of the Page Museum near LACMA. Tahiti
Tourisme North America had a booth in a prime location.
Participating partners in their own booths included
Air Tahiti Nui, Aranui III, Pearl Resorts, FlyTahiti
and Club Med.
Event
organizers noted over 5,000 visitors throughout the
day! Performers included the Mauigirlz who entertained
the crowd with both Tahitian and Hawaiian dances. |
