The quiet village of Teahupoo (southwest coast of Tahiti) will host the event. Local surfers will be invited to compete with the best surfers in the world during the trials. Surfers will face one of the most respected reef waves in the world. The size of the waves have earned the site the moniker "Jaws of Water." Dates to be announced. Tahiti Pearl Regatta, 5th edition
May 8-May 12
International regatta in the Leeward Islands departing from Raiatea (Uturoa) to Taha'a, Bora Bora and Huahine.  This is a 3-stage, 3-day race.  At the finish of each stage, the winners received their trophy for the various categories and at the end of each day all participants enjoy a dinner with traditional Tahitian entertainment.   For more information, please visit www.tahitipearlregatta.org.pf

May 14, 15, 16: "EDT", three paddlers race in Raiatea.

May 17: "Trophee Edouard Maamaatua", 3 races with one, three and six paddlers in Taaone/Pirae - Tahiti.

May 24: "Championnat de Polynesie", speed race with one and six paddlers in Taaone/Pirae - Tahiti.

May 31: "Trophee de l'Amiral",  six paddlers marathon in Taaone/Pirae - Tahiti.
